THRACO-MACEDONIAN TRIBES, Derrones (?). Circa 480-465 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 7 mm, 0.29 g). Head of Athena (?) to left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. Crested Corinthian helmet left; below, Δ; all within incuse square. Naumann E-Auction 98 (2021), 44. Roma E-Auction 81 (2021), 248. Solidus E-Auction 16 (2017), 52. Extremely rare and unusually well centered and preserved. Slightly porous and with light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
